Youth Conference in New Jersey

Performing in Somerset New Jersey
I had the opportunity to share my testimony and perform at a Youth Conference for the Somerset Bible Baptist Church in Somerset , NJ a couple weeks ago. It was great! There were about 500 teens in attendance, and it was such a great feeling to be able to encourage the teens there and have a small part in the great things that the Lord was doing at this conference. The preaching was amazing and I felt the hand of God on all that they were doing there. I talked with Bob Hooker and Reno Likins (two of the guest speakers) who both have ministries that reach thousands and thousands of people all over the world, about my basketball ministry and they both offered to help me get things off the ground. My hope is to use showtime basketball to set the stage for young people to come under the sound of the gospel. If I can use basketball to help children/teens realize their need to accept Jesus as their savior, I can’t imagine anything more important than that!
I’m excited to put my talents in God’s hands and get back to doing his work! Because if there’s anything that I learned from my near-death experience after complications from a back surgery a little over a year ago, it’s this: only the things that you’ve done for the Creator, in the time he’s allowed you to have on this earth, is all that will truly matter when it’s your time to meet Him.
I don’t try to pretend to be anything more than a dirty rotten sinner saved by His grace, but I just thank God for the opportunity I had in Somerset NJ last week to encourage some teenagers with my testimony.
