my message

The most important job I have is sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ.   I graduated from Open Bible Baptist Academy in 1992 and as a young man I was used of God to see hundreds of children accept Christ as their personal savior.  For several summers, I had the privilege of training for the ministry while travelling with evangelist Joe Boyd, a giant of the faith and one of my all-time heroes.

My main goal above all others is to use showtime basketball as a vehicle to share the gospel with children all over America.  It is truly amazing to see children, young and old, captivated by the basketball tricks, and my sincere desire is to introduce them to my King, Jesus Christ.

I believe in salvation by grace through faith in Christ, plus nothing.  I believe that you must, at some point in life, come to a place where you recognize that you have broken God's Law, that you are a sinner and therefore payment must be made for your sin.  That payment must either be made by you or by Jesus, but the choice is yours.

I believe the Bible teaches that you must put your trust in Jesus and his payment that was made on the cross for all of your sins to have an eternal home in heaven and true peace in this life.  If you have child-like faith and simply accept Jesus' payment that was made 2,000 years ago on the cross of Calvary, that is all that is needed to become a child of God.
