As a Christian the biggest responsibility I have is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ.   I’m so thankful that when my time on this earth is through I know 100% for sure that I’ll have a home in heaven because as a 10 year old boy, someone showed me from the Bible how my sins were paid for on the cross over 2,000 years ago.  I am proud to say that I accepted that payment and put my trust in Jesus.  While I’ve made my share of mistakes over the years, I know that I’ll have a home in heaven some day because of that decision I made over 20 years ago.

I had the privilege of traveling with Dr. Joe Boyd for four years.  Dr. Boyd’s ministry has seen hundreds of thousands of people accept Jesus as their savior and my years along side that great man of God were invaluable!

I don’t think that there is anything more important than sharing the gospel with young people and giving them the same opportunity I had, to put their trust in the payment that Jesus made for all of us.  I’ve seen with my own two eyes how powerful of a tool showtime basketball can be to deliver that message to young people today and I hope to be able to continue to use basketball to reach the lost all over the country.
